The Map View

When you first log in to Metrikus, you will start at the Map View. The map view displays all of the assets in your building, including both static assets and live assets. 

The Accordion on the left-hand side of your screen allows you to navigate your buildings, floors and groups. In the Accordion, you can also create, rename, edit and delete groups. The map will automatically adjust to show you only the assets linked to the group that has been selected.

Any asset on the map can be selected. By clicking on the asset, it will bring up more information about it, such as any associated rules, files and the live data coming from it.

The Map View is great for quickly navigating your buildings and quickly reviewing data from a single sensor. But for more extensive analysis and reporting, you'd want to get started with dashboards.
