Create a real-time operational dashboard with live dials

Dials provide you with a live snapshot of any value within the Metrikus platform. These dials are fixed to a certain building, floor, asset group, or individual asset and track an average, minimum or maximum value. Each of the dials can be configured with a RAG (Red Amber Green) threshold indicator to easily track whether a value is going above or below your desired value.

Creating Dials

To add a dial, select the filters in the upper right corner of the chart box to bring up the tooltip. In the tooltip, you will be shown your existing dashboards and an option for adding a new dial.

Once you have opened up the dials, select “add dial” and you will be shown the configuration screen for adding a dial.

Configuring the Dial

  • Configure the filters for the dial:

Property: The value that you will be measuring
Assets: The asset groups that you want to retrieve a value from
Aggregate: The type of analysis you want to retrieve: average, max, or min value
Customise: The ranges that detail the colours on the graph and the dial name. The red layer is represented by the full range, yellow is represented by the amber range and the ideal range is represented by green.

  • Select Save

Editing & Removing Dials

Once you have created your dials, you can edit or remove them by hovering over the dial and selecting either the editor or delete indicator.
