Setting up a Data View

A Data View, is a collection of visualisations and analysis. You can create as many Data Views as you want and share them with any team members on the Metrikus platform. Usually, it can be helpful to create Data Views around a certain topic for easier reporting, for example, Wellness or Occupancy, but you can make any combination of panels in each data view so find what works best for you.

Creating a Data View

Data Views are created on the ‘Dashboard’ tab in your Data View tab. You can access your Data Views by selecting the laptop icon, which will bring up your list of Data Views. To create a new data view:

At the bottom of the dropdown, select 'Create New Data View'
Give your new Data View a name and click accept
Select the Data View to start creating new panels

Pinning your Data View

By default, a Data View will be pinned to the location with the Accordion that was selected when you created your Data View, but you can change this at any time. To do this:

Open the Data View tab
Select the options indicated by the pin icon
Click on the ‘Change Asset Group’ icon
Select the location in the Accordion you want to pin the dashboard to
Click 'Set Asset Group'

Now any time you select that Data View you will also navigate to the asset group that is associated with that group, allowing you to quickly navigate around your Metrikus Portfolio.
