Day of Week Analysis

The Day of Week analysis chart aggregates utilisation data by the day of the week for easy analysis of the best or least performing days of the week for utilisation. By using this chart in conjunction with a more detailed analysis of hours of the day, identify opportunities to increase space utilisation in meeting rooms or desks.

Alongside providing the average and peak utilisation for each day of the week, the chart will track % change in utilisation against the comparison period.

To configure the day of the week chart:

  • Open the filters in the top right-hand corner of the panel

  • Configure the filters:

Utilisation Type: Choose between meeting room & desk utilisation
Date From/Date To: The start and end of the analysis period
Operational Hours: A toggle to filter out non-operational hours
Asset Group: Select the asset group that you want to analyse

  • Click Save

The chart will compare the data to the period immediately before it. The period before it is determined by the length of the period being analysed. For example, if only one week is selected, it will compare to the week before. If three months are selected, it will compare to the three months before it.

Hourly Analysis - Day of Week Breakdown

The hourly analysis chart looks at the utilisation trends on an hourly basis by each day of the week to enable you to identify the most popular times of day meeting rooms and desks are used and where extra capacity may be available.

Alongside identifying the average utilisation for that time of day, the chart will display the % change on the previous period to highlight whether utilisation is either increasing or decreasing over time.

To set up a time of day chart:

  • Select the ‘filters’ in the top right-hand corner

  • Configure the filters:

Utilisation Type: Choose between meeting room & desk utilisation
Time Period: Select between this week, last week, this month, or last month
Operational Hours: A toggle to filter out non-operational hours
Asset Group: Select the asset group that you want to analyse

  • Click Save.
